You really think you're in control

My psych classes are taking over my life...taking over my mind. I now look at a dancing robot during the Packers game and analyze how it is a symbol of society's ideal man: an unemotional, powerful machine that follows orders and fills the role set out for it. We talk about doing sessions on prejudice and racism for AIESEC and I think, "maybe I could say something about Terror Management Theory."

If you think I'm annoying to listen to sometimes, imagine being in my head. Ugh, I should have taken clap for credit or something instead. Something where no thought is necessary.

I can improve my self-esteem by making money.

I do not question the veracity of this insight.
